Graduate in English Literature from UCL, currently studying Shakespeare Studies at King’s College University.
I am very passionate about literature and feel that greater attention and energy should be devoted to the humanities.
Studying English teaches students vital interpretative and analytical skills, oral and written communication and improved writing and grammar, developed through reading texts – all which would help them university and job applications, interviews, etc.
English is also complemented by other humanities and social sciences subjects – at A-levels I studied Sociology and World History alongside English Literature, and the three together contributed to my greater understanding of people and society, of different cultures and contexts and their representations within writing.
Subjects taught: English, History
