I was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and lived in the former Yugoslavia region before immigrating to the United States at the age of nine. After completing a Bachelors Degree at the University of Pennsylvania (Penn), where I studied foreign languages and mathematics, I worked as a project manager in New York and in Stockholm, Sweden for a global translation company. I have since also worked at a think tank, in university admissions, and most recently on evaluation of childrens summer programs. Outside of work, I play the French Horn in community bands, swing dance, and volunteer as an interviewer of prospective Penn applicants through the Penn Alumni Interview program. I am currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at the LSE and plan to engage in evaluation of education and development programs.
