James graduated from Oxford in 2013, achieving the second-highest First out of his year group for Music. He was previously a Music Scholar at Bedford School and, having worked at Wells Cathedral School - a specialist Music School in Somerset - he is now pursuing a Masters Degree in Composition at King's College, London.
