I am a Firstclass honours Spanish graduate with extensive teaching and tutoring experience. I am an enthusiastic and focused teacher. In August 2015 I returned from a year working as a British Council English Language Assistant at The British International School in Barranquilla, Colombia and since my return to the UK I have worked parttime as an English teacher as well as privately tutoring in Spanish, English and Maths. While working in Colombia I independently introduced and led English courses with parents and teachers at the school in an effort to develop English language skills within the whole community. I also provide classes for adults. I am a multi-disciplinary tutor with several years of one to one tuition, as well as classroom experience in the UK and abroad, supporting English and Maths classes.
I have experience in helping children reach exams goals, for entrance exams and GCSES.
Experience working with children with ADHD and dyslexia.
Spanish, Maths and English.
About me: I am passionate about good food and have my own food blog, where I include my own recipes and also food eaten in London and on my travels. I have lived in Argentina and Colombia and have travelled extensively throughout Latin America. I love working with children and find teaching and tutoring hugely rewarding. I have also worked with children through dance and sports, teaching athletics to primary school children and coaching girls aged 3-6 in ballet.
Tutoring style: My tutoring style is always personalised to each individuals needs - I believe there’s no ‘one-teaching style suits all’ formula for students and I seek to engage each of my pupils in a way most relevant to them.
