I am an experienced Latin and Ancient Greek teacher. I graduated in Classical Literature from University of Cagliari with a lexicographical degree in Latin grammar. I am also specialised in Ancient Greek grammar and in the history of Latin morphology. Furthermore, I studied in depth the history of Roman and Greek civilization. I offer Latin, Ancient Greek and Italian tutoring from beginner to university level and private tuition for individuals and groups on the same topics. I can also provide help with the metrical analysis of lyric poetry (especially Catullus and Ovid), Vergil, Homer and Tragedians. My way of working consists not only of a translation unfailing practice, but also of introduction to a proper use of the Latin and ancient Greek dictionaries. Moreover, I think it's very important the comparison between Latin, English, Italian and ancient Greek words based on the study of the common Indo-European roots. I am currently available to start work and willing to travel immediately.
