I have used both Maths and English to a high standard throughout my career in professional environments.
I have been a journalist for 12 years, working for national newspapers including The Telegraph, The Times, The Sunday Mirror and The Mail on Sunday.
At the Daily Telegraph I specialised in business journalism, using the skills I learned studying Mathematics at Bristol University.
Currently, I write about general news, health and education issues, but I am surrounded by Mathematicians as my mother is a primary school teacher with a Maths specialty and my uncle is a Maths tutor.
In my spare time, I like to participate in endurance events. I have completed four marathons (London, New York and Istanbul) and I recently finished my first Olympic distance triathlon in London.
