I have a passion for education, and believe it is important for teachers and tutors to be passionate about the subjects they are teaching, and to be able to pass that passion onto their students. As such, I intend to pass on my enthusiasm for my specialisms - particularly Philosophy, Drama and Literature - on to potential students, encouraging them to find what motivates their desire to learn, and ultimately, succeed. I am also an actor and writer. I have written poetry commissions for organisations such as the Southbank Centre, and the London Transport Museum. I was a Barbican Young Poet in 2015-16, and a member of the Roundhouse Poetry Collective. Most recently, I have co-founded and am the Poetry & Director for Red Chord Theatre (RCT), a newly established cross-artform resident theatre company at Clapham Library. RCT aims to provide an equal platform for music, poetry, and theatre, to engage Clapham's local community in London's burgeoning arts scenes, and foster links between Clapham and London's wider communities.
