During term time I work at Eton College, teaching a full timetable of Physics to 13-18 year olds. I am also an experienced private tutor, having worked with a wide variety of clients preparing children of all ages for all manner of specifications, always with great feedback.
I have a ‘train hard, fight easy’ approach to private tuition and exam preparation. In the Sciences and Maths there is no substitute for doing plenty of exam questions to prepare, and I will be able to guide students through different question types, help them master harder topics and provide model answers whenever required.
Hard work is another key ingredient in exam success and I will expect high standards from tutees, while still maintaining a friendly and fun atmosphere. If approached in the right way, Science and Maths should, and can be, great fun.
Outside the classroom I coach Rugby, Hockey and Athletics and am a huge sports fan. In my University days I represented Oxford University over 400m and am still a keen runner.
